Mafia Warehouse

Connan slipped through Tatsuya's hold, and in turn grasped his wrists tightly enough that his arms locked. Tatsuya wouldn't be able to fight without a hell of a struggle.

"Enough. We shouldn't fight like this. I concur. Next time, do ask."

Connan let go of Tatsuya's hands and walked over to pick up his gun. It was now up to Tatsuya whether or not the fight continued.

Letting out a low growl, he turned to look at Connan. "Connan.. let us speak.."

He eye'd the mafia members who had stopped to watch the fight. "Without interuptions."

"As you like. Lead on, I'll follow."

He left his gun on the table.

He left the room with Connan following.

They arrived in a different room that was something like a library. High shelves full of paper work and documents. Whether there were any actual books was debatable.

Connan stood still, waiting. Tatsuya probably was not about to show him any great kindnesses.

"Connan," Tatsuya started, looking at Connan. "I do not want anything like that happening again, you hear me?"

"You left. For an entire month. I didn't know what the fuck to do. You could have at least told us. You're lucky you still have a gang after that."

"I know I made a wrong decision there, but it's not going to happen again." He looked away.

Connan was silent, then he said, very quietly, "You know how I get after a few days, let alone a month. I think I'm losing my mind, Tatsu. I need you to tell me what to do, give me a task - I don't care if it's painful or suicidal or fucking anything." He realised the tone of his voice boarded on pleading, and fell silent.

"I understand.." He replied, looking back to Connan. "My apologies, then.."

"DON'T appologise!" Connan yelled. He stepped forward and grasped Tatsuya by the shoulders. "For fuck's sake, don't appologise. Just tell me what to do."

He stared at Connan with a blank face. "There is someone who bears a silver brief case and wears a trench coat. He is a threat, his name is William, his alias is 'Buck'. I want you to find and kill him. Search and destroy."

Connan's breathing calmed completely, and he released his hold on Tatsuya's shirt. His persona changed completely once the order had been given. He had turned into the cold, ruthless killer that made him an invaluable member of the gang.

"Where was he last seen, and can I expect him to be armed?"

((ooc: Oops lol okay)))

"He was last seen in town, he may be armed. The brief case may have weapons in it, just watch for that." He crossed his arms after Connan had released his grip on his shirt. "The trench coat may have hidden weapons also."

"Understood. Any other information, or any information you require me to extract from the target?"

"That is all I know so far." He said. "I want you to tell me any information you can get, make sure you get information on friends and family as well."

"Information on friends and family. Understood."

He found a chair and took a seat. "So.. has anything new happened since I was gone?"

This question caught Connan off guard. He had been in killer mode, but the question forced him to revert into an actual human being. If only a damaged one.

"I told them you were finding information on a target. Said it was a personal one. It was the only way to stop them dividing. About two weeks in, fights broke out. We lost two metalmen, Whistler and Grey."

"I see.." He put a hand to his chin, his eyebrows arching. "Damn.."

Connan continued.

"We lost the last shipment of arms, I can give you the names of the people who fucked up. The city had a few hot patches about three weeks in, just the usual rivals."

He looked to Connan, clearly enraged at all of this. "Tell me who fucked up.."

"Jonathan Hawkins, the head of the shipping outlet. Marx, one of our scouts. Thrift, a metalman. They don't know that either you or I are aware of this. You can make an example of them, or treat them as you see fit."

"We can't have them around if they mess up, only one thing to do." He raised a brow to Connan. "Interested in another task added to your first?"

"Anything to keep myself... interested. You want them dead. Public, or quietly?"
